Bailey’s Shelter & Supportive Housing is a multi-service facility that houses both a shelter program and permanent supportive housing. The top two floors of the new site have 9 efficiency apartments each, for a total of 18 new housing units for chronically homeless adults. This new facility opened November 1, 2019, replacing the Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter that had been in use since the 1980s.

Housing is available for adults only. Adults are referred to this housing program through Fairfax County Community Services Board and /or community nonprofits.

Bailey’s Shelter & Supportive Housing is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Services
Services include case management, advocacy, employment assistance, housing assistance, meals, day program and connection with community resources and programs.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed to host group activities, tutor or mentor residents, and assist with office or light cleaning/maintenance duties. -Volunteers at the Bailey’s Supportive Housing must be 18 years of age or older.
